The twilight of 2021 brought about a string of new updates around the world. Apple launched AirPods Max and rolled out IOS 15.2, whereas Taylor Swift took an old album RED and updated it to break pop culture.
But that’s not all that came out around the turn of the ear. Semnox launched a new update called Fireball 2.130.0 for Parafait that includes new capabilities in POS, Reports and Web Management Studio. Stability, optimization and performance improvements are major gating criteria for Parafait and are always considered in the new release.

Pos Attendance
The Staff Attendance module has been enhanced to make the functions more flexible. The Clock-in and Clock-out from the POS is now editable and customizable based on the hierarchy of the user. Not only that, the following new enhancements have been made at the user role level:
- Ability to auto clock out when a new staff clocks in.
- Ability to add/modify/delete a clock-in or clock-out time record (based on setups).
- Ability to modify the attendance role for a clock in/out record.
Pay-Rate Configuration and Calculation
Calculating the staff pay rates has never been easier with the Attendance module. This enhancement comes with the following features:
- Ability to configure custom the payrates based on individual users or user roles
- Ability to calculate overtime payrates
- Ability to generate attendance and payrate reports
Xero Integration
Parafait systems are now integrated with Xero accounting systems. This was done to leverage accounts to synchronize information from the POS system into Xero. The Xero integration automatically syncs sales orders, payments, purchases, and a lot more.
Xero is a web-based accounting system designed for small and growing businesses. Connecting businesses with their trusted advisors and providing business owners with instant visibility of their financial position is a key feature. Being a web-based family entertainment center solution, Xero can be accessed from any device with an active Internet connection.
POS Stock
The POS module has been enhanced to allow users to receive the inventory items at the POS counter for quick sales. This is to reduce delays in selling unavailable products at the stores.
SmartFun Virtual Arcade Integration
Semnox’s customer app Smartfun now has virtual gameplay for its users. The gameplays in the app can be mapped to the gameplay on the website, allowing users to receive points and redeem them in-store.

Standardization of Reports
The reports module has been standardized to include solution-specific reports. The default reports available on installation have been standardized to include popular and the most-sought metrics as a part of them. The enhancements include an enhanced dynamic login page, POSXReceipt and POSZReceipts that use customized design templates, the ability to make web reports active or inactive, and integration of Tableau Dashboard in web reports.

- Void or refund the payment.
Visanet
Exactly the same update as the above MASHREQ’s EZETAP Credit Card Terminal with transactions on POS and Self-Service Kiosk to make a payment, or void or refund payment.
Worldplay Online Payment
Semnox systems now support the payment gateway WorldPay for online payments. This release has enhanced the integration to enable 3DS2 validation.
