Texas Entertainment Center Reopens with a surplus of New Attractions

Texas City, TX– Semnox, a global leader in providing entertainment technology solutions, proudly announces a groundbreaking collaboration with Texas Entertainment Xperience (TEX), a family entertainment destination sprawling over 100,000 square feet. The partnership, initiated with the grand reopening of the revamped facility, marks a major leap forward in enhancing the overall visitor experience at TEX.

Now known as TEX Fun & Social, this newly renovated venue features a diverse range of attractions utilizing Semnox’s Parafait suite of solutions. From eight lanes of full Bowling with a solid LED wall, new state-of-the-art arcade games, laser tag, six lanes of axe throwing, four golf simulator suites, and Indoor Pickle Ball courts to a full restaurant and bar, large arcade and Redemption area, TEX Fun & Social has a unique mix of activities to attract guests of all ages.

“We invested a lot of time in trying to make the right decision on what point of sale (POS) and game card system to bring into our newly rebranded facility. We could not be more pleased with our decision to have Semnox run our FEC,” explained the General Manager at TEX Fun & Social, Shelby Hernandez. “We have six major attractions and over 85 arcade games on the floor now and last night was our opening.”

Semnox integration covers every aspect of the facility at TEX Fun & Social. This includes the Point-of-Sales system for transactions across multiple platforms, redemption management and inventory control. The arcade and attractions use RFID LUMIN game readers to enable “tap-to-play” functionality, RFID XTER attraction readers to manage access control, and self-service kiosks facilitate contactless transactions and game top-ups. The integration also incorporates online party and event booking software, along with a streamlined waiver management system. This comprehensive suite of solutions ensures a smooth and efficient operation for TEX Fun & Social, enhancing customer engagement, operational efficiency, and overall facility management.
